Secondary School Photography.

Providing engaging and authentic professional photography to transform your school website or prospectus design.

Edupic was born from the heart of a prominent school website design organisation known as e4education. Having worked within the education sector for many years, this gives us a deep understanding of school requirements and how essential it is to showcase your secondary school’s vision and values through emotive and engaging photography and videography.

Our team has collaborated with countless secondary schools and multi-academy trusts across the UK. Our specialty lies in creating breathtaking multimedia content, including both photographs and videos, suited for websites and in printed materials such as prospectus documents and presentations.

Virtual Tours are growing in popularity and for good reason. They allow prospective parents to visualise themselves at your school. Our bespoke 360 virtual tour takes the viewer on a real journey through the map of your grounds, really profiling the scope and quality of your facilities. Our clients find them a real marketing asset.

Achieve the best from your day.

01

Organise your schedule

We recommend that your day is planned in advance to allow the maximum amount of photography time available and ensure that we capture all of the images you require. A timetable outlining the lessons, timings and activities you have prepared is a great way to do this.

We are more than happy to photograph ‘staged’ lessons if these aren’t occurring naturally within the day, just please make sure any equipment needed is ready to go. Ideally, we recommend allocating 20 minutes per activity and slightly more for practical subjects such as science, PE and music.

02

Prepare your school

Designating a member of staff to accompany us on the day is great for ensuring we get successfully from A to B!

We don’t like to surprise anyone so make sure your staff are aware of the shoot and that their classrooms are prepared in advance. This may include straightening tables, cleaning up mess and even potentially repairing anything that needs attention to ensure it gives the best first impression, should the area appear in shot. The photographer will try their best to avoid any mess, and if there is anything you would particularly like them to avoid, please say.

03

Request parental consent

Please ensure you obtain consent from everyone participating in the photography day, including staff, students, parents, and visitors. This covers their appearance in the photos and the use of their images on your website or in marketing materials. If possible, securing permission for us to use a few photos on our website would be greatly appreciated.

When planning the day, consider individuals without consent and ensure they are not present in the room or area during the photography session.

04

Inform your students

Remember to inform your students about the upcoming shoot and build excitement for the day! Unfortunately, some schools have had to exclude certain photos in the past due to incorrect uniforms or non-compliant hair and makeup. Kindly remind your students of the dress code and guidelines, and where possible, do a check on the day. If you’re planning to photograph sports lessons or club activities, ensure students are aware of the appropriate PE kit, especially if you’re capturing both summer and winter sports.

While we’ll do our best to spot anything unusual, involving your staff in keeping an eye out for such things is a wise approach as well!
